Honda to soon launch diesel sedan Amaze.
Honda Motors has announced on 9 th October that it will soon launch its entry level diesel sedan type model in India. The model that utilizes the platform of Brio, Honda’s strategic model for Asia, will be called the “AMAZE.” The car will be launched in Thailand and India.

The details of the model will be announced later this month in Thailand, and in next financial year 2013-14 in India. The model will be equipped with a petrol engine in Thailand while in India, the Honda Amaze will be available with a petrol engine and a newly-developed diesel engine. Experts believe the car will have a 1.5 litre diesel engine, a tweaked version of Honda's 1.6 litre diesel engine used in Honda Civic. Honda said AMAZE will be introduced to the market at affordable prices. The car will have contemporary styling and spacious interior yet compact exteriors.
